Bringing modern design and sunlight into older homes is not always easy, especially when the house is sectioned off into a maze of hallways and rooms. For this Ottawa renovation project, once we opened up the main floor a bit and added a functional kitchen layout with modern materials, it transformed this dark 80 year old home into a sunny modern day treasure.
