Here in the Kitchen Cabinetry our main focus was a new Custom Island. The previous inhabitant had a shallow raised snack bar. For this family, a one-level island was more appropriate, especially one large enough to provide prep-area, enough space for baking and children’s crafts and to serve as a buffet table when they entertain. We opted for a historic countertop of Arabascato Marble and then incorporated a marble chamfered subway tile for the backsplash. SMHerrick Photography
