Historic Gem

This New Westminster home received a head-to-toe makeover in the kitchen. The clients wanted a kitchen fitting with the historic era of the home. With heritage charm in mind, the designer created a beautiful, spacious kitchen by re-arranging the layout and adding inset face frame, old world-style cabinetry throughout. The white perimeter lends well to making the room feel open and airy. The five-piece handmade shaker walnut doors on the island make the room feel cozy, yet modern. Details like bead boarded ceilings and open eating give this kitchen the finishing touches to make it wow guests. This home was a finalist in the Best Kitchen Under 50,000 category in the 2015 GVHBA Ovation Awards.
