Nous avons choisi de dessiner les bureaux à l’image du magazine Beaux-Arts : un support neutre sur une trame contemporaine, un espace modulable dont le contenu change mensuellement. Les cadres au mur sont des pages blanches dans lesquelles des œuvres peuvent prendre place. Pour les mettre en valeur, nous avons choisi un blanc chaud dans l’intégralité des bureaux, afin de créer un espace clair et lumineux. La rampe d’escalier devait contraster avec le chêne déjà présent au sol, que nous avons prolongé à la verticale sur les murs pour que le visiteur lève la tête et que sont regard soit attiré par les œuvres exposées. Une belle entrée, majestueuse, nous sommes dans le volume respirant de l’accueil. Nous sommes chez « Les Beaux-Arts Magazine ».b

The lounge space includes a small kitchenette and dining area. The cove lighting provides an even glow around the perimeter of the space and downlights give general lighting. The pendant was used to visually acknowledge the dining space against the more robust lighting in the active areas of the lounge.

Maze Storage Boxes The Maze Box is a multipurpose storage cabinet that doesn't look like a storage cabinet. These boxes can be hung in a variety of patterns to create an interesting design on any wall and provide for excellent storage. Installation is a snap with two equally spaced keyhole slots on the back. Cabinets are sold individually. This piece is available in red koto, walnut and maple but can be special ordered in almost any color. Color samples are available upon request. Image depicts an arrangement of five. Dimensions: 12.25in H x 12.25in W x 9in D. Installation hardware included.

Hier bestand der Umbau darin, eine verwinkelte Windfang- Zwischenwand zu entfernen und den Wohnraum, der auch gleichzeitig Treppenraum mit Galerie ist (die ehemalige Scheune) bis zum neu verglasten Scheunentor zu öffnen. Wie sagte noch ein erstaunter Besucher: ein Loft auf dem Land! Beleuchtet über eine Niedervoltstromschiene, die selbst unter die Balken montiert nicht als Störfaktor wirkt. Die filigranen Strahler beleuchten Bilder und Skulpturen. Das kräftige Rot der einen Wand reicht über die Galerie bis zur Decke des Dachgeschosses und bildet den verbindenden Hintergrund für die Treppe. Im Dachgeschoss wurden aus einem großen zwei immer noch ansehnliche kleinere Räume, sodass jedes Kind ein eigenes Zimmer hat.

This historic house nestled in Coral Gables has an extensive library, and thus needed large Built-in Bookshelves; Finished in White Lacquer and incorporating some storage and functionality goes a long way. At the front entry, solid wood arched double speakeasy doors keep security tight. Still, if you’re invited, then enjoy a home-cooked meal out of this enormous kitchen, two-tone finish, Blue Cerused Oak Cabinets, Stained figured wood veneer and lacquered upper cabinets.

This project was a complete face lift of the entire first floor. Architectural moldings, strong wall color and black accents give boldness and a sense of unity to the rooms. A large scale but light feeling chandelier anchors the volume of the Family Room. The custom wall unit in that room adds a balance to the full height stone fireplace. The Living Room walls are a lively Persimmon which allows the neutral upholstery and area rug to sparkle and pop.
