Working to the brief of a minimalist bathroom was a pleasure. Keeping the space clear of all superfluous extras, often in a bathroom ensured the dominance of lap pool. Surrounded by water, its very nature calming and relaxing brings softness to an otherwise stark space. Photographer Andrew Ashton
