Elm Grove - Historical Restoration

This Elm Grove couple wanted to facelift their living room without taking away from the historical originality of the home. The floor was upgraded to 2nd-grade maple. The large wood-framed window was replaced. The fireplace hearth and surround were revamped. Recessed lighting was added. The original plaster crown molding was reconstructed. The finished product better reflects their design style, improves functionality, and adds visual contrast.
