We decided to treat this large combined living/dining room like a lounge, complete with piano. The quirky seating area includes a newly-purchased antique daybed, bedecked with a melange of silk pillows in spicy tones. The custom-made tasseled footstools add an element of the exotic. The richness of the mellow woods is set off by the depth of the unusual colour scheme of rust, pomegranate, and touches of apple green.
