Dartmouth Park Georgian Town House cloakroom

This was a small compact cloakroom and I wanted to give it a more tradition feel with a few quirks here and there. The sink unit is an antique Chinese altar table made from Elm wood bought from Shimu. I adapted the unit so a freestanding stone sink could sit on top.Bought from CP Hart. Chrome wall taps also from CP Hart. As a contrast i introduced a Grey Chinese Toile wallpaper from Sanderson. The mirror is an antique venetian one . I wanted to mix influences from different countries to blend in but also to give a slight startle to the eye. The floorboards are an antique distressed oak but are new. On the step into the cloakroom I tiled them with old moroccan mosaic tiles in blue and white.
