This residence is a complete remodel of the exterior of this fabulous home in Los Angeles. The entire hillside was overgrown with dry and woody plants, and the clients were looking for a striking and beautiful front yard with water conscious plant materials. They also wanted to have an elegant ground cover treatment. We proposed 2 different design ideas using the similar types of sculptural plant materials with various colored pebbles contrasting one another to define planting areas, and walkways. The final design incorporates succulents, groundcover, pebbles and water features to accentuate the entry courts. There are 2 fountains in the 2 main areas of the front yard landscape. Sustainable modern landscape with drought tolerant plants and low maintenance landscape.
