The quartzite's coloration and veining is a perfect reflection of desert colors and patterns. Stone was brought down the front and back of the large island prep area for maximum impact when you walk in. It also dressed up the kitchen for entertaining. Cabinetry above the cooktop is higher than standard cabinetry so the cookspace feels comfortable to work in.
