The powder room on this project was updated with all new fixtures, tile, and lighting. The wallpaper on the wall adds an interesting visual for this small room.

Location: Brooklyn, NY, United States This brand-new townhouse at Pierhouse, Brooklyn was a gorgeous space, but was crying out for some personalization to reflect our clients vivid, sophisticated and lively design aesthetic. Bold Patterns and Colors were our friends in this fun and eclectic project. Our amazing clients collaborated with us to select the fabrics for the den's custom Roche Bobois Mah Jong sofa and we also customized a vintage swedish rug from Doris Leslie Blau. for the Living Room Our biggest challenge was to capture the space under the Staircase so that it would become usable for this family. We created cubby storage, a desk area, coat closet and oversized storage. We even managed to fit in a 12' ladder - not an easy feat! Photographed by: James Salomon

Квартира 120 м2 для творческой многодетной семьи. Дом современной постройки расположен в исторической части Москвы – на Патриарших прудах. В интерьере удалось соединить классические и современные элементы. Гостиная , спальня родителей и младшей дочери выполнены с применением элементов классики, а общие пространства, комнаты детей – подростков , в современном , скандинавском стиле. В столовой хорошо вписался в интерьер антикварный буфет, который совсем не спорит с окружающей современной мебелью. Мебель во всех комнатах выполнена по индивидуальному проекту, что позволило максимально эффективно использовать пространство. При оформлении квартиры использованы в основном экологически чистые материалы - дерево, натуральный камень, льняные и хлопковые ткани.

Nel cuore dell'Oltretorrente, quartiere di Parma denso di Storia e colore, si realizza la Ristrutturazione completa di un grande ed affascinante appartamento. L'obiettivo è quello di caratterizzare ogni prospettiva, valorizzare ogni vano come unico e specifico. Un gande tavalato di legno di pero è il protagonista indiscusso, si distende dal gande salone alle camere inondando di riflessi rosati le pareti; le colorazioni dei tinteggi spaziano da un grigio delicato al ruggine della camera padronale, per passare dal blu intenso del bagno in resina. Un'abitazione eccentrica, variopinta ed originale vuole essere l'omaggio ad una Committenza attenta ed appassionata.

I created this mural on canvas for installation in a powder room. The mural features a bright blue sky the client liked, along with silver leaf butterflies on the walls around the room and flying up onto the mural. A powder room is the perfect place to create a sky mural. This client actually saw my Gray Sky Mural (also featured on Houzz) and asked me to create something like that to fit her tastes. She already had the brightly colored framed photograph from her mountain adventures and liked monarch butterflies. So, we added a few painted monarch butterflies with gold leaf accents to the silver leaf butterfly silhouettes. It's a fun way to decorate the room with subtle metallic effects. We chose the silver leaf to coordinate with the existing fixtures and color scheme. I painted the mural on canvas so it could be easily installed and removed when the client vacates this retirement community.

This client has exquisite and unique taste and wasn't afraid to do anything! Originally the staircase was a bunch of pony walls and was completely enclosed. We opened up all areas with wrought iron stairscase. Then the little hall closet was pretty much useless due to it's short size so we turned it into a wine cellar which has pull out beautiful drawers when you open the custom iron gate. The foyer chandelier is on a lift to make it easier to clean, love that feature. He has big collectible pieces so we turned his formal living room into showing some of the pieces off. I think the powder room is my favorite and it photographed so badly, but in person it is truly STUNNING! It's a turquoise Lusterstone that feels amazing when touched and has so much depth. This powder room is directly off the family room so always seeing a hint of blue from there was a great decision. This house truly represents all of my clients taste and though it may look like a little much from the pictures, it works beautifully in person and he is HAPPY!
