Beverly Hills Estate

Here is photo 2 of 3 of this room. This is a dual purpose Media Room / Living Room in a large Beverly Hills featuring a huge 103" Runco plasma TV and flush-mount speakers. This shot is more of a close-up and shows the Lutron motorized curtains open, which is controlled from a handheld Crestron touchscreen. All audio/video components for this 'casual home theater' (the home features a separate screening room) are hidden in a mechanical room except the Blu-ray player, which is hidden in a custom piece of furniture. The James Loudspeaker "Power Pipe" subwoofer is mounted below the floor and vents the bass sounds through custom wood faux HVAC ducts. The home features a Crestron home automation system and Lutron lighting controls throughout the interior and exterior landscaping. The Crestron system controls the A/V, lighting, climate (HVAC), security system, surveillance cameras, fountains, motorized curtains, and the pool/spa. This room won for Best Media Room and was part of the reason the home won for Best Total Light Control from Lutron due to the HomeWorks lighting system and Sivoia motorized drapery.
