Belgian Style Sitting Room

WKD’s connections to Belgian designers and their aesthetic resulted in this interpretation of a sitting room. The style features simplicity, calm colors, combining wood and iron materials, and a juxtaposition of antique with contemporary flair. Antiques give solidity, while the contemporary painting and accessories give a vibrant energy to the space. WKD custom designed the coffee table, combining wood and iron, and the floor lamps, which were crafted by local blacksmiths to our specifications. Both pieces are perfectly proportioned and completely understated, exemplifying our philosophy of “The design IS the details.”
