Ashgrove Queenslander Renovation and Extension

The deck ran along the full extent of the pavilion extension, but was only roofed for the zone of the outdoor dining area. Roofing was with Solarspan insulated panel to keep the roof slimline and this area cool. External blinds were added along the outside edge of the deck to privatise the internal areas, and protect from northern sun. The deck sits 450mm above the adjacent grass (with one step down) so that you can 'sit' on the deck edge to interact with the garden.
