The base of the bed is fabric and the interiors of the bed side tables are lined with the same upholstered fabric - ideal for jewelry etc... the bottom drawers also lock. The headboard is comprised of two solid rectangular cushions and in this case they upholstered in suede with baseball stitching. I'm so glad you have an interest. Hope to hear from you via email.
