We are not the ones who did the project, but recognize the pink flower. It is gaura, or called "whirling butterfly". It comes in white with pink accent or the pink as shown.

Not sure on zone. We live in zone 5 and it can be fickle coming back after winter. Some years it comes back and sometimes it doesn't.

Not sure on grass it all depends on it's height but there are a lot similar to this.

It's Cassian pennisetum, with 'Belleza' gaura. It's zone 7b. Cassian is not invasive like 'Moudry' and several other types of pennisetum.
