Thank you for this question. There was no metal in the construction of the door. Just the hardware which I believe we purchased at Rejuvenation in Portland, OR.

I have looked over all my notes on this project and have not seen the color of the black paint that we used. At the time we did try samples but the contractor did not record this and unfortunately nether did I. I wish I could answer the question.

The Wisteria that grows along the top is carefully maintained by the very engaged homeowner.
