these floors look great! stain color?

We have 16 year old wide plank yellow knotty pine floors. They have aged to a deep golden honey color. We are looking at trying to lessen the yellow and considered a weathered grey look. What color of stain did you use?

Thank you for your interest. The floors are dyed with an aniline dye. The process is different than staining and really should be left to someone that has experience with dyeing and finishing. Thank you

Totally agree - would only let a professional do the job. I just haven’t seen a dark color turn out so well on phone floors. Thank you so much!! The house is in Alabama. I’ll be looking for someone who could maybe accomplish this for us!

May I ask what was the color of dye that you used on these yellow pine wood floors please? And was their a stain on top? Polyurethane as well?
