Thanks for your interest in our project. This is a bit unique in that it was designed as a garage for the future after the young children were done with it. The height relates to the ability to put cars on a lift. the low corners are roughly 13' and the center is roughly 18'. We generally use 18' as a minimum in these multipurpose style spaces. if it is truly a well functioning residential gym we would normally be looking for 20' or so. If adult volley ball is anticipated that increases the height. For a kids play room that happens to look like a gym we done closer to 15-16'. The biggest determining factor is how it will be used and by who. Good luck with your project and don't hesitate to ask if you need any additional information.
