Is the slip uno fitter adjustable?

In the installation instructions, it looks like the slip uno fitter is adjustable. Does anyone have any experience with this lampshade??

Hi Kay. There is a height adjustment for the shade so that the mount that is placed at the base of bulb can at 3" from bottom of shade to base of bulb, or 7". The shade measures 10.5" in total height. With this shade and the Antares Floor Lamp, the 3" setting is ideal, especially with the top diffuser in place. Hope that helps!
