Curtains for multiple windows in a row of different sizes

Hello houzz community! Just moved into my first home so I am experiencing the joy of figuring everything out for the first time. Thinking of curtain solutions has really stumped me for our bedroom. As you see (don't mind the moving in mess :P ), there are 4 windows in a row very close to each other but two of the windows are very small. I was originally thinking of doing one large curtain rod going across with long curtains - would that look strange? What would you do if you were me??

Up/Down shades are also available with black out lining if that is important.

I would probably implement blinds to help with light control and privacy and if you would like to add drapery to dress the space, perhaps install the drapes on the flanking windows.

I recommend a shade on each window for privacy and light control. Then, if you want to add drapes to soften the room and add color, I would do one stationary panel on the far left and far right.
