Thank you very much for your interest in our project. The material exterior on the house is 6 inch Red Cedar channel siding. We used a clear sealer on the wood to help preserve its natural look. There is a one inch overlap so the final width of the board is about 5 inches. Also, please note that the face of the siding is flat instead of angled to provide a more contemporary feel.
