Construction of higher bar wall

What is the construction of the bar counter wall? Is it a pony wall with the cabinet wood panels? It doesn't appear to be too thick like a 2" x 4" stud pony wall is. Thanks for the information!

You are correct. Adding a 2x4 wall allows for solid structure for the bar as well as a place to run electrical for plugs on the counter side. It is then finished with cabinetry panels. Thanks for looking.
