No, not concrete. It is a porcelain tile called Kerlite and in this installation it is 'floating' (installed on piers) above a concrete deck. Water passes between the tiles and drops to the deck below where it is channeled to drains. This allows us the ability to lay the tile perfectly flat rather than sloping to drains on the service.
