Hi Tee Jay I'd recommend adding either shelving to display decorative pieces or art work on the brick walls (similar to the image below). Plants are also great to add interest: Artificial plants

Thank you Carolina. it's amazing how the wall in orange has dramatically changed the look of the room. I am definitely stealing from this idea by changing my accent colour to Orange from Red. I think it works better for the brick wall.

Only add shelves if you have really nice things to display. It can easily look cluttered, which would not give you the chic look you want.
