no risk of cracking. can not crack unless concrete substrate cracks. basements cracks are almost always a product of shrinkage cracking when the concrete is first poured. very rare to have basement floor crack after the concrete has been down for year. the material bonds 100% to the concrete, and will never crack unless the concrete beneath it does. cracks and tack-strip holes and other surface anomalies are filled with epoxy mortar and ground flush before first coat of epoxy goes down. Reflector Enhancer epoxy is an opaque process, not semi-translucent, so even if you have ugly flooring trenches, pits, damage etc, it all gets filled in and repaired, and you'll never see it through the floor.
