I would not go too dark but I would look for a rug with some texture as all you main pieces are hard and smooth a shag with some orange in it would be nice .

I would def go darker and with plenty of soft texture to make the white of the sofa and the orange colours pop! Orange looks amazing with Greys, so I would go with something like the Made.Com DEXTER Rug

I would get a dark rug to contrast the white floor and sofa.
