Very nice job. Just curious if client should have considered a nice venting option over the range instead of microwave.

It all depends on how much the client cooks. I personally am a big fan of the functionality to be able to vent heat steam and grease out.

Good choice on extending the cabinets to ceiling.

I really like the lowered bar top to counter height and the waterfall edge. Makes it look much larger. Love the little pendants as well. Very nice job!

That's a very good point isamuel71 . I tried to get them to consider a nice hood but they were adamant that it wasn't important to them enough to spend the money. She also really wanted her microwave there.

The cabinets were an amazing choice, the room looks awesome.

Ok, you've given me hope, and soothed my nerves today! I am in phase II (starting tomorrow!) of a similar remodel. Golden Oak cabinets being professionally painted/sanded, etc. NEW hardwood floor, white quartz counters. I'm just double guessing my design choices, but they are very similar to yours. So I see it can turn out looking fab! Not a lot of non-white kitchen redos going on, so its nice to see yours.
