sorry i am answering this sooo long after you asked, i have been overwhelmed with work and was not checking my HOUZZ inquiries. i think it was an MDF product and not wood used in this pool cabana. the finish was a white paint with an antique brown glaze rubbed on to weather it a bit :) the designer, janet simon, on the job handled the paint finish.
