At first I thought it was hanging over a bureau then I realized this is a living room..I think it is a nice mirror but in wrong spot. Do you have a sofa perhaps you could hang it over?

Artwork would look better. Doesn't it kill your neck to watch the TV that high? Well it would keep you from watching very long. Here's an idea, put the tv over the dresser.

I think you should go with something that is not trying to match with your tv stand. Something in a metallic, i.e.: bronzed, antique gold or even antique silver if you have hardware accents that might be coordinated with the mirror.

It looks like a bedroom dresser with the mirror. If this is a entertainment unit, but you've elected to put your TV over mantel rather than on it ... you may want to recycle it to different room. Due to the height, it doesn't seem to work as a buffett ... but we might need to see more of the room so it is in context.
