Looks to me like a true mechanical polish to standard concrete. The lighter parts are just slight low spots in which the polish didnt occur, giving it that varying colours. But this is from looking at the photo. Keep in mind, it may not be a true mechanical polish, but have a topical sealer over a basic light grind. Both will give you that effect visually in a photo, but a true mechanical polish is a far longer lasting finish.
