What type of primer/paint do you use on the duct work and hot water pipes?

We used a DTM primer (direct to metal) from Sherwin Williams. You can then top coat with a quality interior paint from SW or Benjamin Moore in flat finish.

Hot and cold water pipes were covered mostly with foam insulation prior to paint.

Hi, did you prime the entire ceiling with DTM primer or just the metal?
