I would love to do a similar set up. Do you know what the recessed door hardware is? It looks like it pulls out then closes over the opening. The last time I did a set up like this I used Knape and Vogt but was not 100% happy with the results. I would love to know what this cabinet maker used as these cabinets are beautiful!
