These butternut closet doors have a custom decorative paint finish. I believe it is a light milk paint finish which allows the natural beauty of the butternut to read through.

This was actually a water base glaze that was applied and wire brushed, with care, to reveal the butternut grain. A satin water base top coat was applied for protection after that. The same finish was applied tio the Masterbath Vanity in this home.
