LED color temperatures can play a very important role in landscape lighting. Most landscape lighting is going to come in a 27,000 Kelvin temperature or a 3000 Kelvin temperature. I like to use 3000 Kelvin temperature light bulbs, with green lenses on shrubs and small bushes. However, I like to use 27K when highlighting a brick wall. So the answer to your question depends on the color of whatever you’re trying to highlight.
For security outdoor lights, go with a 3000 Kelvin temperature.
My question was more on the order of does dkotov need to make something in the yard look good, or find the way from the garage to the house without tripping :-)
