It is a full-bodied (high gloss), oil enamel made by Farrow & Ball. I'm not sure if they make the oil-based version anymore but the do have a water based substitute. There are 5 coats the product on the ceiling. I applied it with 3/16 mohair roller. I sanded the ceiling in between each coat with 220 and 320 grit sand paper to provide a deep, ultra smooth finish.
