Nnigrt- thank you for your input. I have heard the honed, as opposed to leathered AB, shows every fingerprint and such. Do you find this to be true?

yes i do! but its ok, the cooktop is on the island which means it needs a thorough cleaning every night after dinner anyway. the marks show, but they come off with a soapy sponge and a light buff with a microfiber cloth.

i would have felt huffy it i had those counters everywhere in my kitchen.
