the blue looks nice with your rug. buy a runner, placemats, or dishes to complement the blue drapery and your chairs, then you'll be set.

are the shutters blue? at least I think they are shutters... why did you not turn on the chandelier for all the images?

They are pirouette blinds, sheer white material. The light casts a very yellow glow. The first two pictures were taken during the day and the third at night.

I would suggest a gray, solid color. UrbanBarn has some gorgeous ones, velour feel to them. Look really nice!

Love your dining room...Interesting, I vote white/ivory-love that it brightens the room up and like the ivory/white against the wall color. Blue is my second favorite.
