Hi Karina - I think this could be a good solution if you have limited space for the door anyway - it takes up very little space when open. I might have a couple of concerns - the door doesn't provide quite as much privacy because of the seam down the middle, so it depends on how much privacy the bathroom already has based on location.

We have had the door installed this way for a couple of years and it is used daily and seems to be holding up well, but I know some types of bi-fold door hardware hold up better than others, so you would want to make sure you get a good quality hardware.
