Thanks for your enquiry on the hood. This hood was custom made in San Francisco and was specially designed to cantilever out from the wall without any visible means of support. The motor is mounted directly behind the external wall. The hood was done as a one off for a showhouse where all the specs were prepared for this specific installation, so no specs available. So glad you like it and would suggest calling a commercial hood specialist to assist in obtaining a similar look.

Wow, thanks guys for your compliment especially coming from such cool hood manufacturers. I love hoods and think they should either be celebrated in a kitchen or they should disappear. I wanted this hood to look like a piece of sculpture floating and was a challenge to execute.
