What kind of countertops are these? They don't look like quartz or granite. Thanks!

Hi! Handcrafted Metal makes custom zinc countertops in this style, though we can't take credit for the one seen above. Below are some pictures of a zinc L-shaped countertop we made in 2009 (hover over them to see a full image). It's completely smooth, and features a framed opening to accommodate an undermount sink. We made a virtually invisible weld at the corner to make it seamless, and shipped the top as a single piece. You can see even better views of this countertop on the page for it on our website:

On our website you can also see a variety of other custom countertops. We can make them out of copper, zinc, pewter, bronze, and stainless steel. Our tops are EASY to install. We'll build your custom countertop and then install it on wood substrate, so all you have to do is set it in place and secure it with screws. If you already have a solid surface in place, we can ship your custom countertop without the wood, and you can glue it down over your existing counter top. If you need, we can also include a welded-in sink, or if you already have a sink, we can provide a framed opening, but these features add to the cost. Here's a link to our countertops page:

We ship all across the US and internationally, and you can enter the size you need to get an instant price on any of our countertops! To get started, choose a metal type, and click any of the styles to see a collection of countertops that we have made in that style. You can then click any of the countertops displayed to see pricing and customize any dimension and feature.
