We were so delighted to be able to bring to life our fresh take and new renovation on a picturesque bathroom. A scene of symmetry, quite pleasing to the eye, the counter and sink area was cultivated to be a clean space, with hidden storage on the side of each elongated mirror, and a center section with seating for getting ready each day. It is highlighted by the shiny silver elements of the hardware and sink fixtures that enhance the sleek lines and look of this vanity area. Lit by a thin elegant sconce and decorated in a pathway of stunning tile mosaic this is the focal point of the master bathroom. Following the tile paths further into the bathroom brings one to the large glass shower, with its own intricate tile detailing within leading up the walls to the waterfall feature. Equipped with everything from shower seating and a towel heater, to a secluded toilet area able to be hidden by a pocket door, this master bathroom is impeccably furnished. The goal of this project was to upgrade the builder grade finishes and create an ergonomic space that had a contemporary feel. This bathroom transformed from a standard, builder grade bathroom to a contemporary urban oasis. This was one of my favorite projects, I know I say that about most of my projects but this one really took an amazing transformation. By removing the walls surrounding the shower and relocating the toilet it visually opened up the space. Creating a deeper shower allowed for the tub to be incorporated into the wet area. Adding a LED panel in the back of the shower gave the illusion of a depth and created a unique storage ledge. A custom vanity keeps a clean front with different storage options and linear limestone draws the eye towards the stacked stone accent wall. Using light flooring in the form of natural lime stone 12x24 tiles with a linear pattern, it really draws the eye down the length of the room which is what we needed. Then, breaking up the space a little with the stone pebble flooring in the shower, this client enjoyed his time living in Japan and wanted to incorporate some of the elements that he appreciated while living there. The dark stacked stone feature wall behind the tub is the perfect backdrop for the LED panel, giving the illusion of a window and also creates a cool storage shelf for the tub. A narrow, but tasteful, oval freestanding tub fit effortlessly in the back of the shower. With a sloped floor, ensuring no standing water either in the shower floor or behind the tub, every thought went into engineering this Atlanta bathroom to last the test of time. With now adequate space in the shower, there was space for adjacent shower heads controlled by Kohler digital valves. A hand wand was added for use and convenience of cleaning as well. On the vanity are semi-vessel sinks which give the appearance of vessel sinks, but with the added benefit of a deeper, rounded basin to avoid splashing. Wall mounted faucets add sophistication as well as less cleaning maintenance over time. The custom vanity is streamlined with drawers, doors and a pull out for a can or hamper. A wonderful project and equally wonderful client. I really enjoyed working with this client and the creative direction of this project. This Columbia, Missouri home’s master bathroom was a full gut remodel. Dimensions In Wood’s expert team handled everything including plumbing, electrical, tile work, cabinets, and more! Electric, Heated Tile Floor Starting at the bottom, this beautiful bathroom sports electrical radiant, in-floor heating beneath the wood styled non-slip tile. With the style of a hardwood and none of the drawbacks, this tile will always be warm, look beautiful, and be completely waterproof. The tile was also carried up onto the walls of the walk in shower. Full Tile Low Profile Shower with all the comforts A low profile Cloud Onyx shower base is very low maintenance and incredibly durable compared to plastic inserts. Running the full length of the wall is an Onyx shelf shower niche for shampoo bottles, soap and more. Inside a new shower system was installed including a shower head, hand sprayer, water controls, an in-shower safety grab bar for accessibility and a fold-down wooden bench seat. Make-Up Cabinet On your left upon entering this renovated bathroom a Make-Up Cabinet with seating makes getting ready easy. A full height mirror has light fixtures installed seamlessly for the best lighting possible. Finally, outlets were installed in the cabinets to hide away small appliances. Every Master Bath needs a Dual Sink Vanity The dual sink Onyx countertop vanity leaves plenty of space for two to get ready. The durable smooth finish is very easy to clean and will stand up to daily use without complaint. Two new faucets in black match the black hardware adorning Bridgewood factory cabinets. This Condo has been in the family since it was first built. And it was in desperate need of being renovated. The kitchen was isolated from the rest of the condo. The laundry space was an old pantry that was converted. We needed to open up the kitchen to living space to make the space feel larger. By changing the entrance to the first guest bedroom and turn in a den with a wonderful walk in owners closet. Then we removed the old owners closet, adding that space to the guest bath to allow us to make the shower bigger. In addition giving the vanity more space. The rest of the condo was updated. The master bath again was tight, but by removing walls and changing door swings we were able to make it functional and beautiful all that the same time.

Small Yet Sophisticated Bathroom Remodel

The owners of this small condo came to use looking to add more storage to their bathroom. To do so, we built out the area to the left of the shower to create a full height “dry niche” for towels and other items to be stored. We also included a large storage cabinet above the toilet, finished with the same distressed wood as the two-drawer vanity. We used a hex-patterned mosaic for the flooring and large format 24”x24” tiles in the shower and niche. The green paint chosen for the wall compliments the light gray finishes and provides a contrast to the other bright white elements.
