Glamourous but fun, bold and unexpected. Black & white family bathroom. Wall mounted Perrin & Rowe bathroom fittings from England feature over the bath and vanity. The floor tiles add the fun element, while still keeping in a traditional black and white format, but with a contemporary pattern. This ensuite has been transformed into a luxurious and functional space that perfectly complemented her bedroom. The muted green with a peachy pink effect like onyx for the tile from Artisan of Devizes added a beautiful touch of warmth and texture, while the accents of gold added a touch of glamour. The traditional vanity with contemporary finishes created a unique and stylish look, and the reeded effect glass shower screen provided a sleek and modern touch.

This plaster pink cloakroom was previously a dusty broom cupboard. We kept part of the wall unplastered to add interest and recall the history of the room.

Soft gray and pink with coastal style elements. Wood tile floor and white and gray shower. We expanded the bathroom footprint to add a makeup vanity area.

Floor to ceiling bold marble tiles 24x24 in size. We created an area rug effect with tile under the tub and shower that seamlessly meets the concrete porcelein floor tile, also 24x24 in size. We love this freestanding tub and hidden horizontal shower niche.

Designed, sourced and project managed to completion - an ensuite in a loft conversion - details include antique side table to hold beautiful handmade porcelain basin by The Way We Live London; installation of wet room floor and walk-in rain shower; black highlights; subway tiles; antique mirror and Blush 267 by Little Greene.

My client wanted to keep the pink glow of her 1950's bathroom but bring it into the 21st century. She also needed to make sure it was one she could use as long as possible.

This stately Haverford home was a great investment for the clients — who call themselves serial longterm flippers. After purchase, they renovated the kitchen to better accommodate entertaining and cooking holiday feasts for large family gatherings. They took an awkward open master bath and remade it into his-and-hers baths, joined by a shower between the two. Enclosing the bathroom areas created a large dressing area with copious closets between the master bedroom and the reconfigured bath.

This master en-suite is accessed via a few steps from the bedroom, so the perspective on the space was a tricky one when it came to design. With lots of natural light, the brief was to keep the space fresh and clean, but also relaxing and sumptuous. Previously, the space was fragmented and was in need of a cohesive design. By placing the shower in the eaves at one end and the bath at the other, it gave a sense of balance and flow to the space. This is truly a beautiful space that feels calm and collected when you walk in – the perfect antidote to the hustle and bustle of modern life.
