Emily is very professional and creative. Emily designed our kitchen and took it from a 1980s style to beautiful , functional and elegant kitchen that reflected our personal style. She involved us in the design process and took our ideas seriously. Both my husband and I cook and the kitchen is the centerpiece of the house.

Emily and her team have designed and supervised several rounds of renovation in a prewar building, including three bathrooms, master bedroom, den, gallery, and cabinetry in numerous rooms. Emily has the unique ability to incorporate a client's artistic sensibility with her own in such a way that you feel as much a part of the design process as you want to. As an artist, I had many ideas about patterns, textures, and style, and Emily was able to make sure that the the rooms had my style, but in the proper scale color, and price point. If you want to shop with her, great. If not, her eye is wonderful without you. She worked well with my GC and the building architect (NY buildings have many, many rules about when, what and how renovations must be done), and was able to save a lot of work, money and aggravation in the process. Emily was redesigned my 1 bedroom prewar apartment in NYC. From the first interview, she came up with practical and creative ideas that maximized my space and yielded an apartment beyond my dreams. She was able to design a stunning kitchen using IKEA cabinets. She worked extremely well with the contractor and was always pleasant, upbeat and very knowledgeable. I would recommend her to anyone because she is such a pleasure to work with and so professional.

Our house sold in a day for $50,000 over our asking price. Thank you Emily. One of Emily's many gifts is her ability to design built ins, wall units and AV furniture. We liked the two pieces that she designed for us so much that we moved a wall in our weekend house to accommodate one wall unit and are using the other as a centerpiece for the media room in another.
