“Cadolino Custom Woodworking was very professional and thorough. I had an oak kitchen peninsula installed as a divider between my kitchen and dining room. You expect that the finished quality of a custom piece will be great. What really impressed me though was the attention to detail and the personal considerations both during the design phase and the installation. Angelo took the time to design the piece with input from me and offered options based on what would be the current and potential future use of the piece. My main concern was that the peninsula would look out of place between two rooms that are rather different but the design looked good and the piece when installed worked perfectly. The style and color of the piece matched my country kitchen perfectly on the one side and blended seamlessly into the colonial dining room on the other. The quality was excellent both in the strength of construction and its finish. The installation was done with minimal disruption to our home environment and the cleanup upon completion was immaculate. I would highly recommend Cadolino Custom Woodworking to anyone looking to have custom interior work done on their homes.”

“I bought a piece from chris at elite pieces in time because of how unique the item was. I go looking at different antique stores and flea markets and never find what I need. He really does find rare and interesting pieces and fixes them up so they keep the patina of age but look beautiful in turn. Wonderful job!”

“The owner of Old English Fireplace Benches recently delivered a beautiful club fender for a decorating project that I am doing in a historic hotel lobby. The large fireplace desperately needed furniture that created a welcoming, inviting feel to the area. For me, nothing does that as well as a club fender. Old English Fireplace Benches was easy to work with, and very helpful with suggestions as we custom tailored the bench to suit the fireplace. The workmanship is wonderful, and I know that my client will enjoy this bench for many years to come.”

“My wife and I asked Nico to design an entry table and coat rack for our house in San Francisco. We gave him some rough ideas of what we wanted and then he came back with a draft. A couple of revisions later, he produced a great model to let us really see what it would look like. He then began construction and we got a beautiful table an coat rack. Stunning really. We have since moved and the table is still the first thing you see when you walk in out front door which is what we want. We get lots of compliments on it. i look forward to having more Nico pieces in the future.”

“We have been buying furniture and household accessories from Fairhaven Furniture for nearly thirty years, and most recently as our adult children set up their own homes it is the place where our children most want to shop. The items in our home which we acquired from Elizabeth and Kerry - our cherry dining room table, our down-stuffed curved living room sofas, side tables and bedroom furniture - are the artistic touches we love most in our home. Lao, Colleen and Mark have helped us to purchase beautiful pieces for our offices now too, from stressless chairs to sleek couches (we now own two sizes of "the Michael" sofa). On the rare occasions when we have chosen an item that is too big for the space or just doesn't quite look right the staff has helped us without hesitation, removing the furniture back to the store and helping us to make a better choice. There are times I go down to Blatchley Street with nothing in mind to buy, just for the pleasure of looking around at what's new. It's a visual feast of beautiful wood and vibrant materials. Nothing is mass produced, everything is made with care and invention.”

She and her husband will move mountains to find just the right piece and will personally install to the most discerning standards. For our project, it included a very high end dual canopy umbrella which was calibrated to withstand the flow of wind through the client's garden grove. Highly recommended.”
