“When recently planning for a project to give my old fireplace a modern facelift, I had the idea of using reclaimed wood. Searching the internet I found barnboardstore.com and decided to meet with them since they were close to my house and they also had worked with a few hospitality projects that I familiar with in the city. My first impression of Mike was that he was professional, knowledgeable and extremely helpful and this carried right through my whole experience with him. The samples at his showroom were just what I was looking for. Upon meeting him at his warehouse around O'Connor, I realize he had an extensive inventory that ranges in colour and texture. Mike helped myself and my contractor pick the right pieces for the job. I am extremely happy with the final result and would work with Mike again on personal and professional projects. From his quick email response times and beautiful product to his courteous nature, Mike is a pleasure to work with.”

“Joshua is a young man with a lot of knowledge about his craft, which is to simulate actual timber frame house beams using lightweight wood construction. The "faux" beams are so realistic, that even my clients couldn't tell they were not original and they ordered them with me! Although our job ended up at the hospital with a dislocated shoulder, the next day the boys were back the next morning to finish off. As a custom home and cottage builder, I would use this company whenever I get a chance to.”
