He showed up when promised, his inspection of the exterior was thorough, and his bid was detailed, complete and competitive. His license was current and clear, and he was properly insured. From the beginning to end of the job he responded quickly to text messages asking follow-up questions. * Alejandro and his crew were extremely conscientious during the project and did not cause any unease or disturbance to the residents at home during the job, or to the neighbors. * Coverage was complete and uniform (spray-roll-spray) using top-quality paint. “We hired J&J's Final Coat Painting to paint our house and when they were working on the estimate I had them add on a very large arbor. We have a large, two story stucco house and the job they did was great. We still get compliments from people driving by. The crew took the time to prepare the house before painting and were very professional. The house and the arbor look great. They did such a good job painting our front door we decided not to replace it. Prior to having the house painted we had several windows replaced and when they were done there wasn't a single spot of paint on any of the windows. Quality work. Quality service. Great value.”

“Marco, Jennifer, and Peter did an excellent job refinishing my cabinets and baseboards. Their bid was substantially below the other company that came out, they worked consistently, and the final product was a big improvement. The cabinets were original construction that I do not think had been refinished in the 35 years since the house was built. They had water damage, chips, scratches, and all the general wear you would expect. Refinishing only involves new coats of stain and lacquer, not wood replacement, so it does not get rid of problems below the finish layer. Peter pointed this out to me at the beginning of the job, but said the team could make them look ”well loved, like your grandmother’s cabinets.” They delivered on that promise. The final finish has an almost imperceptible marbling to the color scheme, which helps to hide imperfections without being obtrusive. It is also very slightly darker than the original, which helps it blend in with the baseboards (stained and installed separately). Marco also addressed a spot on my brick fireplace where a previous owner had slapped a brushfull of red paint. He hand-painted the brick and mortar colors over the red well enough that you can‘t tell the difference from ten feet away and have to know what you’re looking for if you’re closer. It’s a kind of fix I wouldn’t even have known to ask for. Marco has a good eye for color and contrast and likes to work creatively. If you want to show him a problem and ask for solutions, you will likely be happy with the result. If you like to micromanage or if you want something to have the “stamped out in a factory” look, he may not be as good a fit for your needs.”
