My focus is to showcase a broad range of well-designed products available on the market. Hopefully through this outlet I can shine a light on the people responsible for enriching our lives with their creative talents. Over the last few years I have primarily written articles about the watch industry and more specifically beautiful timepieces. Total Design Reviews will still promote fine horology including watches and clocks. However the new platform will also feature architecture, automobiles, fine art, fashion, electronic technology and interior design products. In fact if an object is innovative and well designed it will be showcased on this website. As a designer and artist I have a meticulous eye for detail. My wife says that I am borderline obsessive compulsive but I say it is just a passion for something I enjoy. Ultimately this has stimulated my interest to produce an online magazine and express these feelings. My aim is to cover the whole spectrum from well-known brands to small independent artisan craftsmen. I feel that my unique creative viewpoint will make the content of this site different to other design websites. Many of the products featured on Total Design Reviews will be exclusive in nature and priced accordingly. However this is not purely a luxury website because there are many wonderful pieces that are (relatively speaking) affordable. Hopefully this new portal will be both inspirational and aspirational to discerning readers who appreciate great design.
