“I requested a queen Murphy bed made out of beetle kill pine. We live adjacent to National Forest and have seen the devastation of the beetle. Beetle kill wood has a very distinctive look with gray-blue coloring mixed with the natural pine coloring. The bed was manufactured by FlyingBeds International in a very reasonable time frame and was installed by very competent and professional people. The wood is absolutely beautiful and the bed is very functional with shelves, lighting and an electric outlet easily reachable. We are extremely happy with the entire process and the outcome.”

“I purchased a queen size head board with the black/white tiles. The image was so sharp on the fabric. I am so pleased with the quality of this product-from the solid wood frame to the sharp picture of the slip cover headboard. Genius idea! “AMAZING WORK!! I first ordered a custom Hinoki tub that was completed far sooner than expected and delivered to NYC far faster than expected. The quality was even better than I had hoped for. I liked it so much, I asked them to build a custom bathroom vanity out of the same wood, immediately. I emailed a detailed drawing of what I wanted. Bill from Zen called with some follow-up questions and kept me in the loop during the whole construction process, which again was lightning fast and the vanity was crated so nicely, I hated to break it apart. I am undergoing a major renovation and was dreading the expected agonizing search for the ideal ofuro and vanity that would fit my taste and the space. Bill and Zen Bathworks made this the easiest part of the job. Living in NYC, there was definitely no shortage of options when it came to these two jobs. The craftsmanship and level of service I received from Zen has guaranteed them ALL of my future business and I will recommend them every chance I get!!”
