“Arne of Nordic Builders was one of three contractors I had bid on my total kitchen remodel and the first to provide detailed schematics showing me what he had in mind for the project (at no cost or prior commitment from us) along with a very competitive quote. All cabinets were to be custom built of the materials/colors/details of our choosing. We also needed drywall, flooring and electrical work. Arne provided contacts/sources for this work that were professional, wonderful and efficient to work with. Our add-ons (there were many) during the project were noted and priced at very reasonable rates. Arne didn't drop the ball once, provided great ideas at the beginning and during the entire process. He managed the project to a conclusion that was to our complete satisfaction. The cabinets are beautiful!! My wife has the kitchen of her dreams. While a total kitchen remodel can be a heck of an inconvenience, Arne made it fun. He is a true professional. We highly recommend Nordic Builders! Ron and Kathy Smith Hudson, WI.”

“I've been a homeowner for over 35 years, owned a number of houses in California and Minnesota and have had many make over projects in my lifetime. Nathan is the absolute best contractor I have ever, ever dealt with. His trustworthiness, his workmanship, and his reliability and know-how are absolutely outstanding. He also helped us design major projects in one historic house we owned (around 2006), and he handled it so well...we just entrusted so much to him...it was great. He has done work for us on more than one property (the last job was in 2016) and each time, the workmanship is perfection...and he's so orderly and clean! He always has great people that he brings with him for different aspects of the job (painting, tiling, etc). He seems to know the best workers and surround himself with outstanding people.”

“I can’t even begin to tell you how great this piece turned out. I spent hours on Design Within Reach’s website searching for a mid century design piece with contemporary dimensions but with no luck. Turns out that custom was the way to go and I’m so glad I did! I shopped my idea around to other craftsman but none of them embraced the mid century modern design philosophy like Hossle Woodworks. Not only did I get my desired dimensions but Justin was a huge asset in designing this piece. He talked me down from some crazy ideas of a modular credenza! Quality craftsmanship aside, Justin is great to work with: patient, willing to explain design process, willing to compromise and meet the customer’s needs and expectations, and he’s pretty great with mock-up drawings.
